Vase 2/2.
In this piece, I continued my exploration of curves, but with a deeper focus on three-dimensionality and texture. Starting from a simple wheel-thrown base, I used a single coil to build up layered forms that both follow and break away from the body of the vase. These additions create a sculptural surface that plays with light and shadow, emphasizing the tactile qualities of clay.
Techniques: Wheel-thrown + hand built.
