This mask is my interpretation of the Goddess of Abundance in nature — a being born from the interconnectedness of the human, animal, and fungi kingdoms. She emerged as a forest-dwelling creature, something between a nymph and a spirit of wild fertility, embodying the cycles of growth, decay, and regeneration.
Her features are both familiar and strange: part human face, hints of animal instinct, and fungal textures that seem to grow organically from her skin.
Measurements: 20 cm x 6 cm x h 20 cm / 7.8 in x 2.3 in x h 7.8 in
I sculpted this mask using one of my own stoneware clay formulations — a material I developed to carry the energy of the earth with integrity and strength. The surface holds the rawness of soil and the softness of something alive, like bark or mushroom flesh. She is a vessel for abundance — not as excess, but as harmony with the rhythms of nature.
