This ceramic vase is inspired by the majestic mountains of Salta, in northern Argentina. During my travels there, I was deeply moved by the layered, undulating forms of the landscape and the earthy tones that shift with the light.
Techniques: Wheel-thrown + cutting.
Measurements: h 31 cm x 8 cm / 12 in x 3,1 in
I translated these impressions into the curves and textures of the vase, evoking the natural contours and quiet strength of the mountains. Each line and shape is a reflection of the connection I felt with the land—timeless, grounded, and full of silent poetry.
