As both an industrial designer and ceramicist, I oversaw the project from concept to final production. Each piece was designed in Autodesk Fusion 360, 3D printed for prototyping, and brought to life through slip casting using molds I handcrafted. The result is a cohesive, sensory-driven collection that reflects Softly’s gentle and refined approach to well-being.
Oil burner design
In designing this collection for Softly, I focused on creating forms that evoke a sense of calm and softness through gentle, continuous curves. I wanted each piece to feel tactile and inviting, yet also carry a sense of otherworldly minimalism — as if they belonged to a serene, spatial landscape.
Candle container design
The aesthetic is rooted in geometry: all shapes were born from basic geometric figures and thoughtfully merged using lofts in Fusion 360. This approach allowed me to craft a visual language that feels both organic and precise, blending emotional warmth with a clean, futuristic sensibility.
Aromatherapy bomb holder design
Collaborating with Softly was a transformative experience that deepened my understanding of my role as an industrial designer working within the world of ceramics. It revealed the vast possibilities that open up when digital design and traditional craft intersect. By designing more complex, multi-functional forms in 3D modeling software and bringing them to life through slip casting, I was able to merge my technical skills with my ceramic practice in a way that felt truly integrated.
Inciense holder design
This process expanded my perspective on what I can create — not just as a maker, but as a designer capable of bridging technology and materiality to develop unique, high-quality objects for contemporary brands.
